#1 Length:

Measure down the centre back of your dog form just
 below the collar to just about the based on the tail.

#2 Neck circumference:

Measure around your dog’s neck just below the collar.
Add about one inch (2.5 cm) for ease.

#3 Width between the front legs:

Measure between the front legs at the top of the legs
(where the front legs meet the body).

#4 Length from neck to leg openings:

Measure at centre front, straight down from
neck to top of front legs.

#5 Chest circumference:

Measure around the widest part, generally just behind the
front legs. Depending on the desired fit of the sweater
(close fit, loose fitting, or oversized) add from one to five inches
(2.5 to 12.5 cm) of ease.

#6 Under body length:

Measure from neck under the front through the front
legs along the chest to the end of the ribcage.

#7 Tuck-up (tummy):

Measure the stomach area, end of the ribs, the tuck-up.
